Content Policy

What you can share

HireLogs accepts experiences that meet all of the following criteria:

  • –First-person accounts of interviews you personally participated in, either as a candidate or as an interviewer
  • –Descriptions of the interview process: number of rounds, format of each round, approximate duration, and the type of questions asked
  • –Your approach to solving the problem presented, including where you got stuck and how you recovered
  • –Honest assessments of your own performance, including mistakes and gaps in preparation
  • –General observations about a company's interview culture, values, and evaluation criteria — drawn from your own experience
  • –Salary and compensation information you are legally and ethically permitted to disclose
  • –Practical preparation advice based on what you learned from the process

What you cannot share

The following content will be rejected or removed:

  • –The name, identity, or any identifying detail of any interviewer — this is our most important rule and has no exceptions
  • –Exact interview questions reproduced verbatim, particularly for companies that treat questions as confidential intellectual property
  • –Any content that violates a confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement you have signed — if you are unsure, do not submit
  • –Content that identifies a specific hiring decision for a specific named individual other than yourself
  • –Fabricated, embellished, or AI-generated experiences presented as genuine
  • –Defamatory statements, personal attacks, or content that could harm a specific individual's reputation
  • –Content submitted on behalf of another person without their explicit consent
  • –Promotional content, recruiter pitches, or any material with a commercial motive

Verification

Before publication, every contributor must verify their connection to the experience they have submitted. We accept four types of verification:

  • 1.Offer letter or rejection email from the company
  • 2.A work email address at the company (for current employees writing interviewer perspectives)
  • 3.A LinkedIn profile showing the relevant employment or interview activity
  • 4.A signed attestation from a current employee who can confirm the contributor participated in the process

Verification confirms participation, not the accuracy of every detail. Contributors are responsible for the truthfulness of their submissions. Providing false verification documents is grounds for permanent removal from HireLogs.

Anonymity

Contributors are identified only by a self-chosen pseudonymous handle. We do not display, sell, or share your real name or email address with any third party, including the companies whose interview processes you describe.

We store your verification documents for a maximum of 90 days after publication, after which they are permanently deleted. We retain only the verified status and the verification type (e.g., “offer letter”). We cannot and will not disclose your identity to any company, even under informal pressure.

If we receive a valid legal order requiring disclosure, we will notify you before complying, to the extent permitted by law, and will provide you an opportunity to seek legal advice or challenge the order.

Takedown & withdrawal

Contributors retain the right to request removal of their own experience at any time, for any reason, with no explanation required. Send a removal request from the email address associated with your account to hello@hirelogs.com and we will unpublish the experience within 48 hours.

Companies that believe a specific experience contains inaccurate information, proprietary question content, or a policy violation may contact us at the same address. We review all company requests on their merits. We will not remove accurate, legally permissible experiences simply because a company finds them unflattering.

We do not accept legal threats as a substitute for substantive takedown requests. If you believe you have a legitimate legal claim, please engage qualified legal counsel who can correspond with us properly.
